feature request about transitions on Camtasia studio

Hi
it would be great if in future versions, there be an option to remove some transitions from transitions node. because there are lots of transitions but we always only use four of theme for example. so every time we open transitions node, we have to search & select our favorites. but we wish there will be an option to remove those unwanted transitions from interface so that it makes our tasks easy.
thank a lot

I like the principle of the Idea, though I would rather not have the unwanted transitions removed. Instead, I would love the order in which transitions are displayed be dependable on how often you use them, so that your favorite transitions are always on top of the the other less used transitions. That should also work for Animations, behaviors, callouts, etc.

auto ordering transitions on the basis of how often we use them wouldn't be the best in my opinion and wouldn't result into what customer exactly aims.
i meant something like those in Microsoft office which you can easily  remove unwanted tabs from interface by removing their ticks from options menu and it is highly customizable.

I think where this idea is going, and I do not want to detract from it. Quick tip: Shift + T (someone keep me honest, I don’t have camtasia up in front of me) should apply the last transition you utilized. I only really use fade and fade to black.

i agree but note that many people are interested in four transitions for example ( not only one lastly used) between lots of existing transitions, so shift+T wouldn't be what we exactly need.

I understand your point, but to my mind the better option is not to remove anything, but rather to make two changes:
  • First, being able to flag transitions as favourites (even add them to the Library, come to that) and have an option in the drop-down at the top which displays only your favourites; and
  • Second, have user-customisable shortcut keys to assign to a transition so that they don't need to hunt for them at all. (Unfortunately Shift T is, as I have griped before, effectively useless if you use more than one type of transition.)

There is a very LIMITED ability to filter at the moment via the aforementioned drop-down at the top of the panel. I only ever use Fade or one type of wipe, so I can filter by Fades or Wipes. To say that it's ideal is some way from the truth, but at least I don't have to wade through three entire groups of transitions that I never use.

That's OK but i always prefer a neat console without any unwanted stuff. i gave an example with Microsoft office in witch we can simple remove unwanted tabs simple by removing their check box & again if needed in future we ad them to interface by selecting their check box again.
