Feature Request - Automatically Copy to Clipboard

I would like my screen captures to automatically copy to clipboard.  I often don't want to preview the image and would like to quickly paste the image immediately after capturing. It would be great if I could initiate two functions when capturing an image:
1) Capture and copy to clipboard
  - Initiated by print-screen button

2) Capture and preview
  - Initiated by Ctrl + print-screen, or some other shortcut

You can do these now by creating presets.

Go into Manage Presets, click on the plus sign and new preset.

In the new preset window Click on the image tab and set the options
"Preview in Editor" to OFF
"Copy to Clipboard" to ON

Click the green save button

Name your preset like Clipboard Only or whatever
and click on the text  "Add Hotkey" and set your hotkey(s)

For Clipboard with preview do the same above process only turn
"Preview in Editor" to ON
"Copy to Clipboard" to ON

Dubie - I noticed one called 'Clipboard No Library'. How do you exclude it from the Library?

That was a preset I had created for Snagit 2018 and at the time was still running Windows 7.

The short and sweet, it was a workaround (hack)

It sent a capture to a folder within a folder. A subfolder if you will that would overwrite each new capture.
I than had a batch file scheduled by way of the Task Scheduler that would delete the capture from the folder and that would remove any reference in the library.

See my post here about the whole workings and setup.

Or you can just watch the video in that post here. It's about 20 min. long

I no longer use that preset anymore. Now that I am running Windows 10 when I want to make a capture to just the clipboard I use the Windows Snipping Tool.
Simple and quick !!

I do use Snagit 2020 for most of my other captures or quick image creations or edits
