Feature Request: Capture Audio (with or without video) without listening to it

I am often needing to capture an online (and long, 1-3 hour) video, and the only way to capture it is with something like SnagIt. I want to multitask, and being able to capture the video and audio but WITHOUT listening to the audio would be awesome. I can't disconnect speakers (laptop), but I don't want to hear the audio track while I'm capturing because I'm going to watch/listen later, and I'm working on something else right now. If Snagit could pick up the actual audio channel, no matter what the system volume is set at, this would solve my biggest practical issue with SnagIt (which I love!).

Related, it would be helpful to set a recording timer, or have a way to stop recording after X number of seconds of silence -- stop recording without having to watch the process and manually end the recording. Yes, you can always trim the video, but being able to set a specific length or wait for silence makes the workflow and process easier.

Thanks for listening!
