Feature request: move Bold/Italic markers out of the way.

During correction of the closed captions in Camtasia Studio 8, the video keeps on playing while editing the captions. However, when the playhead moves to the next caption, that one gets blue already and the bold/italics marker appears. But I am still working on the last words of the previous caption which effectively get hidden behind the marker. So I have to stop playback, move back to the caption I am editing (that one gets blue) and do my thing. And then continue.
Better would be to place the bold and italics somewhere else where they do not obfuscate existing and relevant text.

2 possible workarounds ?

insert a short blank caption between the regular captions

give timeline the focus, then use ctl-space bar to start/stop timeline play

Not really a workaround; blank caption between every caption means inserting hundreds of them and removing the. The focus stays on the caption, since that is where I am typing. Best workaround is maybe to live with it :-)

sorry it won't work for you

it does solve the problem for me; my inserted blank captions [via copy/paste] are very short [3 frames] so I do not need to delete them as they basically are not seen when video is played

I do agree that the covering controls are annoying
