Hello TechSmith Community!
With the responses to Snagit's special Feedback Feature Request Round-Up coming right around the corner (and Camtasia's responses in the coming weeks) we wanted to let the community know what the various Statuses mean with a quick post. Be sure to follow the original Round-Up threads as well as those individual Ideas that you're interested in!.

Without further ado, here are the new Status definitions:

No Status

An Idea with No Status in the Status field indicates that Product Management has not yet reviewed the idea or that a decision has not been made. When you see the No Status, continue voting, sharing, and discussing the Idea. If you see a particular Idea that has its status field empty for more than three (3) months, please notify a TechSmith Community Admin (you can reach out to Robert directly at r.risdon@techsmith.com).
Under Consideration

Ideas marked as “Under Consideration” are Ideas that have been accepted into Product Management’s backlog and are either waiting for further research, design, or for development resource availability. These may still be dropped from the backlog. Note too, that marking an Idea as “Under Consideration” is the first step in moving forward with a submitted Idea. The total number of threads marked with “Under Consideration” will be limited, so as not to overpromise and underdeliver. When you see threads marked as “Under Consideration” we encourage Community members to not only vote on the idea, but to continue discussing it in the comments section.
Planned

When you see an Idea with “Planned” as its Status then this means that the Idea is in active development, but could still be dropped if met with unforeseen problems. When a beta build with the feature becomes available, we will review the thread’s followers and contact those followers privately (wherever possible).
Implemented

The "Implemented" status means that the Idea has been fully released in the product and is available for use by users
Not Planned

Ideas that have been marked as “Not Planned” could mean that the Idea did not reach enough votes to be prioritized over other ideas - e.g. we have run out of bandwidth in this round. It could also be rejected for a specific reason that Product Management has stated. The original thread will be closed although community users are welcome to resubmit the Idea again at any time.
Please note that this Article's comments section have been locked; if you have any questions regarding the updated Status definitions please reach out to Robert directly at r.risdon@techsmith.com

Thank You!
