Called in today and your staff, as usual, is great. Thanks Bill in Tech Support for helping me navigate around the stamps. Found a feature I did not know existed in Stamps. Needed a Brace or Bracket to place emphasis on an area of text in a document. So if you are trying to highlight a few lines or area in a training manual a brace or bracket works great. Are there any plans to give users the ability to change the colors in the stamps? I see value and obviously many others see value in that too. I would think that to be an easy update but maybe not since control of the png images may not be that easy. The idea would be a nice feature since the entire tool is designed to update change add and modify colors and images why not the stamps?

I think that stamps are stored as PDFs, not PNGs, hence why it's not possible to change the colours. :(

You can make the Stamps work if you jump through a couple of hoops.

You have to flatten them to use Color replacement. They won't change until you flatten them.

Here I'm flattening one of a set of  math brackets. Don't let the screen shot throw you.Its a screen shot of SnagIt opened in SnagIt.

Then changing the charcoal black color to magenta using color replacement.

Now, if the same color of the stamp resides within the image. Color replacement gets trickier. You have to isolate it as best as you can using the selection tool.

In this example I changed a bracket to magenta and it also changed the Adobe UI to varying degrees all over the place.I highlighted most of them in yellow.

I was able to use undo and use the Rectangular selection tool on the bracket. Reapply Color replacement and get the result I was looking for.

A more complex situation might require the lasso selection tool.
It's a lot of steps to get there. But it can get you there in a pinch.

You can place brackets on transparent backgrounds. Change their color and save them as stamps.
Just save large ones so they resize well. Or create pdf's in an Application that can.
