I'd like to see support for unstitching media.

I know that I can line the playhead up, exactly, and then manually split. I'd like to see something like selecting a region, and breaking up the stitches in that region.

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback. We currently don't have a functionality that allows you to make a selection and unstitch all the stitches in that region; however, I'll be sure to pass your suggestion along.

For now, are you aware that you can right-click on a specific stitch and unstitch it using the context menu?

In any case, I hope this helps, and let us know if you have any other questions!

I did NOT know about the "unstitch" command from the context menu.

In general, I look to the main menus for the commands, and the context menu is just "convenience". I actually hate it when commands are hidden by having to click on everything in sight to try to hunt down the commands -- I had "point and click" adventure games that were like that and did not like it. It's almost like trying to rename something when "rename" is hidden only inside context menus.

Very useful insight! On one hand, it sounds like the discovery of the unstitch command is a good one. On the other hand, it's pretty clear that it's still not an ideal solution for you/your workflow. What was helpful (for me, at least) was to hear where you (or where you do not) tend to look for features or functionalities. So thanks again for your feedback! We'll take it into consideration.
