File Name Syncing

I'm busy preparing some visuals to be used with an upcoming fundraising benefit concert. I had captured and saved some images from SnagIt, then later was in Windows File Explorer. I decided the file names needed adjustments, so I renamed them in Windows File Explorer.

I was most pleasantly surprised to see that when I returned to the SnagIt editor, the recents tray actually reflects the new file names!

I'm not sure why, but that seemed unexpected behavior. I figured once SnagIt saved the image, it was kind of just "done". Although I do find it pleasantly elegant!

Cheers... Rick :)

What would happen if you changed the folder's name?

You mean if I moved it to a different folder? Or just changed the name of the folder it is presently in?

Hmmm, I tried both. And it seems the images are unaffected either way and still work just fine in the editor.
