Why does the filename appear on top of my video when I play? I'm so frustrated with this. I need it to go away.

Cytnhia I am not sure why this would be happening but could you give a little more information or possibly share the video showing what you are seeing please ? You can use screencast.com and if you do not have that then just sign up to the free account TechSmith offers or even if you have it on YouTube or somewhere else and could share it that would be great.

Also, what version of Camtasia are you currently using and what is your Computer Specs not that that is what is causing it as it would not cause that issue. But more information helps for others to see or may have had this issue and got a solution for it or not.

If all else fails then I would suggest putting in a request for Support at TechSmith. Information for that is below and this is free.

I have the same problem.  I don't think it's Camtasia related as it happens when I run the freshly-downloaded files in VLC or any other player.

If I run the slider on the player back to the beginning, the filename disappears, too.
