Files are saved as raster and can't be edited after saving.  I have a highly annotated drawing with lots of text boxes on it.  After closing the file, the editable items I have put on the page are no longer editable.  To make a correction, I have to completely delete the existing box/text and recreate it.  Not a major catastrophe but it would be if I had a LOT of things to change.

You need to save them using the .SNAG format if you want to continue editing later.

Before you actually use them though, you will need to save in a different format such as PNG or JPG or GIF or whatever.

In these cases you would save twice. Once as the SNAG, and once as the desired usable format.

Cheers... Rick :)

What has been the case? SNAG saves the objects and Layers, PNG does not. What format are you saving your documents in?
