Carter,

Thank you for pointing that out. We have a tutorial on adding accessories and outputs which is located here:

http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-sna...

We also have a couple of blog posts that talk about stamps and creating your own.

Windows: http://blogs.techsmith.com/tips-how-t...

Let me know if you have any questions.

This is not helpful for Stamps. I can find the download page, and I can download stamps. But they download as "xxx.snagitstamps", and I save them to the proper folder, but when i try to use them in the program, I can't find how. If I try to Organize Stamps, the program does not recognize the .snagitstamps extension.

How exactly do I apply and use the downloaded .snagitstamps files??

For the .snagitstamps files all you have to do is download them anywhere and double click them. Snagit will automatically install them to the correct location for you. They will be available in your stamps after that.

Let me know if you run into any issues along the way!

I see the statement that the stamps are only good for Windows 11.2 and up. the latest version of Windows that has been released for PCs is 8.1. What does this version refer to? It might be because I am using Windows 7 (SnagIt 11) that I cannot use these downloaded stamps.

That is referring to the version of Snagit. Our latest version is 12.0. If you're on a version of 11 earlier than 11.2 you have a couple options. You can upgrade (for free!) to 11.4 by checking for updates in the menu.

The other option is you can download most of the stamps from the site in a .msi bundle and double click it when if finishes downloading.

Let me know if you have more questions!

Hi there,
You can find lots of stamps to download here:
https://www.techsmith.com/snagit-accessories-stamps.html
There are tabs at the top of the table that say Stamps, Numbers and Letters, Etc. Just click those to see other stamp sets.

You can read about making and using stamps here:

Kelly thanks for this. I did something wrong or something went wrong...
I followed the steps, meticulously replacing a dozen variations of white and after filling with transparent, the background is still clearly covering anything I put it on... could you give me anymore guidance?

Hi,
Can you send me your SNAG file you are working on so I can see what is happening?
Don't send a PNG or JPG. I want the actual .snag file you are using to create your stamps.

Please send to k.mullins@techsmith.com

Thanks,
Kelly
