Flashing Video at Beginning of Project

I am using Camtasia 9. I recorded a PPT presentation and edited it in Camtasia. It seemed okay at first, but then the beginning slide flashed on and off. I tried to trim it but it didn't work. I would appreciate any tips about how to fix this.  I don't want to have to rerecord the entire presentation.

Can you export the offending slide from PowerPoint and substitute it with the original?

Another thought, can you export/save a frame from the slide where it isn't flashing?
Then, use it in place of the defective slide?

No it isn't the slide. It seems to happen whenever I am trying to edit a section.

Hi there!

I'd be curious to know whether the flashing appears in the produced content or if the only place you're seeing the flashing is in the Preview window. If it's just the Preview Window then please go to Edit - Preferences - Advanced and set the "Hardware Acceleration" option to "Software-only Mode" then restart Camtasia. That might help alleviate flashing in the preview window.

I followed your directions and it didn't work. It seems to happen when I am editing something. I had a section that was fine and then I deleted part of it and it flashed on and off twice. I don't know how to get it to stop.
