I used to organize my captures/graphics into folders.  I upgraded to solve another technical issue and now the folder view is GONE. I'm writing a user manual with many chapters and graphics and now I can't find graphics when I need them. (Grrrr.  The date view is useless for my purposes.)

Now I need to somehow apply keywords to a massive number of graphics, but I need to view them to do so. If I have to individually open and assign a keyword to each graphic, that is just ... utterly insane.

New versions are supposed to be IMPROVED.  You've removed several very useful functions for no reason I can discern.

Maybe we can help you with whatever problem you had with v 11.3.  Going back to that version may bring down your frustration level.

Here it is: http://www.techsmith.com/download/oldversions.asp

Thank you, Manny.  Now 2nd question--I upgraded because I had trouble accessing and organizing stamps, which now are for some reason in several locations on my computer.  I want to consolidate.

Should stamps and captures be in the SnagIt directory with the program files and/or in a subfolder, or kept in My Documents in a folder?

Manny, didn't realize you are a Master User and not a TechSmith employee, so double-kudos to you for helping out the rest of us amateurs!

Thank you but Snagit just happens to be one of my favorite utilities and I like to help out with interesting questions.

The organization of stamps is basically the same and has been for, frankly, as long as I remember.  Upgrading most likely didn't help with anything.  There are really no rules how to do it but I'm going to make a video to show how I have organized mine.  Hopefully that answers your questions but if if doesn't please ask for more clarification.

Here's that video:  http://screencast.com/t/wZpjTF78
