Recently I found someone who illegally downloaded Camtasia. They are a YouTube channel centered around Minecraft around 230~ subs and in his latest video if you skip to 0:46 seconds you can see a .rar file titled "Camtasia Key" now I commented saying he illegally downloaded Camtasia and gave my evidence, saying that the file most likely contains some sort of key generator or something like that. I also said its unlikely that theres a .txt file in it that has the code (which, according to my knowledge, you only need the key once to get Pro Camtasia so why keep it? dont quote me on that though) Alright so I just heard FlipFlop (the YouTuber) is going to delete the comments but I screenshoted the comments at the right time. Heres links to evidence:

Anyways thats all the evidence I got so far! Also lets try to see if we can get a TechSmith to read this to take some sort of action if this is a crack version!

I certainly don't condone stealing software. I don't think that having a file named Camtasia Key is illegal but I'm no lawyer either.

What I do know is this, he makes Minecraft Videos and uploads them to You Tube.

You became a member of  this forum TODAY. Someone using YOUR User Name also uploads Minecraft Videos to You Tube.
See Image Below.

Your concerns are noted and TechSmith has been informed. I'll leave it at that.

I would have to agree with Joe on this and his explanation (Joe's) was a good one. I can say that I have all of my serial keys in a .zip and .rar file and the .txt for backup reasons on a USB Drive for quick reference if anything goes wrong with my system so I will have access to them. I do this will all my legal software keys. When I email TechSmith for a lost serial and get a return email I do this so I do not have to worry about sending another email if it is lost or anything major goes wrong. I am not saying his version is legal or illegal just that we all have our own ways of doing things for organizational purposes and backup purposes. I save all of my  Camtasia Projects and zip them up for archival purposes but that does not make my software version illegal if I have purchased it from the company. Just my two cents worth here.
