frame extend enhancement request

It would be nice if Camtasia could move everything to the right as needed for me, or rather than be grayed out, it could flash an error saying “not enough space to extend”. I noticed a couple other problems that seem strange: 1) when I “extend frame”, it comes up with a suggested extend time which is OK, but after I put in a time once, I’d like my previous time to remain as the suggested time next time; 2) when I choose my own time, Camtasia actually inserts two time extensions, one that it originally suggested and another one over the top being the one I put in. (I found this out when I was not happy with my time selection and tried to modify my time, which I could not do, sadly, but “control z” removed it, and I then saw the original suggested time extension still there); 3) the frame selection does not stay absolutely firm, but rather, about half the time, it jumps back a frame or two as its beginning. I would like to be able to select the extension period and modify its starting point and its length if possible much like a transition.
This is the final video I ended up publishing: not every “frame extension” is exactly the one I wanted. It would be nice if when choosing a frame that I could use the “nudge” arrows to move a more precise amount, specifically a frame at a time (maybe the “control/arrow” could be used to move 5 frames at a time).
