When I record tutorials in Camtasia my cursor very often stop move. I just recorded 90 minutes video and last 70 minutes are ruined because cursor is visible on the same place rest of the time. How can I fix this?? Is trec file irretrievably damaged and I will have to repeat all recording?

There are a lot of people that run into the exact same problem you have.
For myself, I've been using Camtasia for years and I've only ran into the problem once or twice. So I cannot tell you why it occurs to some people and not others.
As far as the frozen cursor goes you could go into properties and turn off the opacity so that the frozen cursor is no longer visible. But as far as repairing it goes I've never heard of any way to do that.
What you could do in the future is a record to AVI.That's pretty much the standard solution for people that have that problem on a regular basis.
You can access the settings for that under the tools tab of the recording toolbar. The problem with that is that the cursor affects are burned into the video and you cannot change anything. However, you can apply effects to the cursor.

I have that happened several times while recording LIVE classes, and it is frustrating. I also have to record in avi format only since i was told that this bug has NOT been fixed in version 9.

I hoped that version 9 could be ok (I have 8). Shame... Thanks for reply.
