Frustration with simply changing a color

I just spent MINUTES trying to figure out how to change the color the line of a simple box I drew around something on a screenshot.  This is crazy frustrating for something that I remember being so super-simple in the past.  Now, in SnagIt 13, I can't figure it out.  All I seem to have to choose from are 'Quick Styles'.

If you click on an item or pick a specific tool, the properties should open on the right side and allow you to change to something close to what you want. Tweak the size and color etc then save it as a Quick style for next time.

Under STAMPS you have the option to change folders and find stamps. Don't bother as it has been totally broken and apparently "no on wants it fixed" although a lot of us have voted for it over several threads

If that is an issue for you I suggest you find the threads, join us nobodies and vote for it to be fixed

Personally, I suspect this is yet another focus issue. I find myself being frustrated often because after adding an element, focus doesn't remain on the element. I often specifically have to click the element to give it focus before the properties either appear or allow me to change what I want.

Cheers... Rick :)

I had the same exact problem.  Thought I was losing it.
I full-sized my SnagIt Editor on my 24-inch monitor and finally there was the color-fill.
Turns out sometimes you have to grab "Tool Properties" and drag it up because it will randomly collapse its height and hide the Settings from view.
In my case, for the "Highlighter", it was the"Fill" and "Opacity" Settings I couldn't see.
