Always a problem in

see the menu bar recreated over and over

areas are seemingly skipped or smashed together

the captures are reduced in size on Retina

You guys had a good product that just gets worse and you ignore all problems with no fixes or excuses.

How about a refund? When I buy a product I expect quality and service and you have given neither

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for the detailed explanation of these issues with Snagit's scrolling capture feature, we appreciate the help and certainly understand your frustration.

You have identified a flaw with the nature of our scrolling capture mechanism. Because the site that you're capturing has what we call a "traveling or floating toolbar", as we scroll the page and take each subsequent capture, that toolbar gets in the way. As you can imagine, this wreaks all kinds of havoc when we attempt to "stitch" the images together at the end.

One possible workaround for this issue is to drag the URL from the address bar down to the Snagit dock icon. As long as this site doesn't require a log in, Snagit will capture that website in the background which should avoid this toolbar issue.

Again, we are truly sorry for the many troubles you've described, especially related to Snagit and the Retina display. We care deeply about our customers, our quality and service are very important to the overall experience people have with TechSmith products. If you would like to contact me directly to further discuss how we can make your experience improved, please do so...my email address is [removed] I am the Lead Developer for Snagit, and it would be my pleasure to be of assistance to you.

If you would like to go ahead with a refund, that would also be our pleasure. If you simply call (517) 381-2300 ext. 636, and provide your order information, a refund will be provided.

Thank you,

Jason Eagleston

What is the point of posting your email when you don't reply after I send 2 ?

What is the point of posting issues when you give half answers

as here then dont even followup with a reply?

You people have taken your software and customer service to new lows of ineptness.

Hey there,

I'm going to go ahead and mark this as "acknowledged". Also, in case you still arn't satisfied, I'll go ahead and provide a link to our software return policy for you! Hopefully you will continue to enjoy our products, but just in case, I want to make sure you have all the information you need. https://store.techsmith.com/guarantee...

Hope that helps!
