Fuse not connecting to Computer

My notebook and mobile device is on the same Wifi network at work, and I cannot get fuse to connect to Camtasia. It keeps saying "We scanned your QR code, but are having trouble contacting your computer". Please assist as I would love to use fuse, as we have purchased Camtasia

Hi Ryan, 

Do you know if your computer is using more than one network adapter?  If so, try disabling all of the adapters except the one you are using and see if that works.  If that does not help, can you please submit a support ticket here so that we can troubleshoot that with you?  https://support.techsmith.com/home

this is not possible for me as i am at work. what else can I do? I have the newest release. My error is that the qr code is not supported. on the same wifi.

In addition to Nate's suggestion, please make sure you're using the latest release.  We did make some changes in version 8.2.1 to address some connection issues we were seeing in 8.2.0.  If you continue to have problems connecting, we'd love to work with you to troubleshoot further as Nate suggested.

I am experiencing the same trouble. Read that I need to open some port in my router to make it work? But I don't know which one it is. Can you please help? I'd love to connect Fuse to Camtasia but want to make sure I open the correct port. Using an xfinity router and know all the necessary steps, just the correct port number is missing. Hope you can sort this out. Thanks!
