I think this issue has been brought up on earlier occassions, but I am not sure if anything has been improved based on thoese previous requests, so I'd like to bring this up again:
Up front: I know I can search for conversations on a specific product, e.g. by selecting SnagIt.

That said, I think there is no way to  [Optionally!]
a) limit the search to a specific period [Start date: from-to; Last added post date: from-to]
b) sort the results on 1.start date, 2.last added post date.
c) limit search for a specific product version (tag: v.12, tag: v.11, etc)

example: I want to search for
-SnagIt version 12,
-postings started in the last 3 months only and
-sort should be on start-date.

Yesteday I traced a posting, I copied the contents to clipboard, but I accidentally did not notice that my clipboard mgr wasn't running.
I have spent about an hour now to trace it, using all kinds of search parameters, all in vain...
Search results show 12 pages or more with a mixture of 3 years old postings uptil 3 weeks, but...sorted randomly ...

Hey Mike,

2 out of 3 of those features you are requesting are available to admins, but not yet available to users, if I'm understanding you correctly. We use a third party solution for our feedback community here called Get Satisfaction, and I'm sure they would love to hear these suggestions and requests as well! I don't know if they have plans to bring these features over to the userbase, but you can find out more information and leave feedback here as well: https://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfaction

Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Logan,

Thanks. I did what you suggested.
Getsatisfaction replied that they are indeed working on improved search features.

That said, as TechSmith is the primary user of Getsatisfaction, I guess that TechSmith's words/requests will carry more weight, so maybe it wouldn't be too bad if TechSmith would bring this up as well.
Obviously that's up to you of course.

Thanks again.
