Get rid of popup verifying capture sent to Power Point

I have previously reported this very irritating bug in Snagit. I am set up to send my capture to power point. When I do that, Snagit presents a popup at the bottom right corner of the screen. I previously complained about this making it much more difficult to rapidly do a series of screenshots because I must wait for the popup I didn't want to disappear.

Now, the popup will not go away at all unless I exit the Snagit program. Will you please remove this feature, make it optional, or at least make it go away?   Surely you can't think that exiting and restarting SnagIt after every screen shot is a good aspect of your tool

Hey Hal,

I just tried the PowerPoint output plugin. I'm running Snagit 19 with PowerPoint output plugin version

My toast notification stays on screen for five seconds, then drops back out of sight:

As you say, there's no option in the PowerPoint output plugin to disable the notifications:

1) Can you let us know what version your Snagit and PowerPoint output plugins are? This will help Techsmith to find the bug that's causing the notifications to get stuck.

2) Do you have a Mac or PC? These popup notifications are handled by the operating system on a Mac but, on Windows, they seem to be created by Snagit itself.

3) I'm interested to see if the problem is with your PowerPoint output plugin or with your main Snagit application. Can you try reinstalling the plugin, then testing it again, to see if the toast notification still sticks? If that doesn't make any difference, try reinstalling Snagit itself and test it a second time. My money is on Snagit itself being the source of the problem, as that probably creates the notifications, but the best way to be sure is with a quick test.

4) I'm also curious about how the popups interfere with your workflow. Are you finding that they are being included in screenshots because your chosen capture area includes the bottom right corner of your screen? Or are they not in the capture area, but you believe that Snagit will be unable to process additional screenshots while the toast notification is still present? In my testing, Snagit seemed able to take new screenshots, even while the previous toast notification was still on screen.
