Hi Henrik; It's unfortunate to hear of your struggles with the current workflow of starting a capture; the good news is that you can set Snagit up to capture an image directly (or a video, if/when you need it). Please open the Snagit Capture window then select the "Image" tab that is on the left hand side (step 1 in the below screenshot). This will allow you to capture straight to image without having to select image or video. You'll also want to verify that the hotkey is set for Print Screen (step 2 in the below screenshot), if it says "Add Hotkey" then click on those words then tap your Print Screen key; this will assign the Print Screen for capturing. Hi Robert Thank you very much. This was not very intuitive, but it now works as I need it to. Now I can easily make screenshots of dropdown menues that only stay dropped when the mouse is hovering above it.
