Have an option for overriding the default user's name for templates

For those of us with Windows 10 and a Microsoft account, the username in Windows 10 is the first 5 characters of our Microsoft account email address. When creating a new template, it looks like this name is the one put into the "Created By" field. In my case, it shows "Created by zshal" and I'd like to specify "Created by Zach" or something else that would identify me to my coworkers. Of course I can just change this manually, but how about a setting in Snagit's preferences that lets me choose what that default name should be. That way all my templates will look the same.

The templating function looks like a fun new improvement to the "combine images" feature and I'm excited to start using it!

I like your idea Zach.  With me, its my Active Directory account which I'd just like it to say "Gio" instead of "gio.stefani".

Hi,

We just shipped version 2020.1.0 on the Mac side which allows you to configure your username in templates. Should be coming soon on Windows.
