Having trouble recording the screen in Snagit for Chrome

Does screenrecording work for you? it doesnt for me

Hi Seth,

You mentioned that you can record the screen, but that it doesn't "save"; can you give a few more details about where you're running into trouble?

I will hit the "new screen recording" and it will say snagit is recording your screen and when I am done i will hit the stop button and nothing happens, no recording is saved, pictures will be saved though

How are you starting the recording; are you using the extension and clicking the "Screen" button, or are you using the app and clicking the "+" button?

Are you trying to do a screen recording by clicking on the extension and clicking on Screen, or clicking the + in the app?

What device are you using that is having the distorted voice? Also, are you using an internal or external mic with it?

Hey Seth,

If you check in the "TechSmith" folder on Google Drive, do you see the videos that you recorded? Or only the screenshot images?

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app + extension, and see if that helps at all?
