A friend from Latin America sent me a Camtasia 2019 file (Camstacia.tscproj) While I am a novice  in this I cannot get it to play. I downloaded an evaluation copy of the 2019 software and when I try to load up the file I get "cannot find the file" and the file name in the error looks like the senders hard drive location?

The tscproj file does not contain the source media. It is the project file.  Your friend should send you the (big) source media files with the project with the 'export as zip' functionality.

That is a very common mistake. The Camtasia .tscproj files do not include any source files, no audio, video, images, nothing. When you "import" into Camtasia, what you're really telling Camtasia is go get this file from this location in my computer. So just ask your friend to send you a zip file with everything s/he used for the project, then when it asks you where is this file, just point to them.
