Help creating an ellipse capture in SnagIt

Hello -

I've searched through help articles to no avail - I'm trying to convert a rectangular capture into an ellipse by their creating a new profile with new settings (that didn't work) or by editing the image in Tools > Styles after I've captured it.

Any advice? I've been using rectangular captures with SnagIt for 5+ years and want to try something new for a presentation. Seems like it should be easier than this!

Two options I can think of One is directly from Snagit only the other is a hybrid using PP and Snagit .. I will write up and share when I get back home .. Andy

Hi Val,

Can you please explain a bit more about what you need/want to do?

It seems you now take captures with Snagit and they are rectangle shaped captures. But, maybe you want to turn those into ellipse shapes?

And, you mention using profiles... but for what?

Overall, I just need more info on what you need.

Thanks!
Kelly
