Hello, I noticed that Camtasia can't 'run' or 'use' 48 Khz That well. So, I am trying to make my music, for a speed paint, into 44.1 Khz so it doesn't sound all distorted. How do you change 48 Khz into 44.1 Khz from camtasia?

What version of Camtasia are you using?

You can use an awesome free tool called Audacity, to open a file, then export it back out as another format, such as 44.1khz/16-bit.

Also, Audacity is a full audio editing/processing tool.

yeah and that is the problem with Camtasia. It totally FAILS to address sound version after version. Why the hell would anyone be happy to have to go to a third party for a fix that should not be needed to begin with. OR, at least have the technical capabilities within Camtasia to make adjustments. This is absurd and yet, there are those who are willing to pay money for a half working program. I will not upgrade again until this is resolved and will continue to make this an issue until Camtasai folks address this.

I actually just recorded in 48khz directly into Camtasia, using the Zoom H4. Unf. it plays back and exports  video files with significantly lower speed and pitch.
