Help!! Snagit is splitting my screen horizontally!

Suddenly (maybe two updates ago?), Snagit 2018.1.0 (64 Bit) (Build 775) has developed a split personality (see screenshots): whenever I attempt a screen capture, Snagit launches and splits my screen (on all 3 monitors) horizontally, right across the center. I can't capture anything from the upper half, and on the lower half I can only capture the amount of the screen that's visible.

In panoramic capture I can sometimes get the whole screen in, but I can't see what I'm capturing. This behavior is not limited to the program I'm capturing from, or the monitor or laptop, or what type of capture, and I've checked all my settings, relaunched Snagit, rebooted my computer, etc. 

This is killing my work time - suddenly Snagit has become unusable. Please help! (I am also submitting this to Tech Support, BTW).

System: Windows 7 Enterprise, SP 1, 64 Bit, running Chrome Version 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hmmm, I'd say you need to get with SnagIt support on this one!

Pretty weird, eh? I did open a support ticket, but wanted to post this here, too, in case anyone had ever seen this. Figured I'd get a faster Community response (was right, lol)

Thanks for your help with the post, though -- wish I could get rid of the bad one...

I'm literally reduced to using Snipping Tool! ARRGH!
