Hi!

I am using (1) Camtasia Studio 8.6.0, (2) Power Point 2010, and Audacity 2.1.2. These tools run under Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, Service Pack 1.

First, I created a PP file (.pptx). Then, I opened Camtasia. Then I clicked on Import Media. Then, I located the folder where I saved the PP file.  The folder displays all the media files but not the PP file.

What'swrong?

Thank you!

Dr. T

When you import the media, you can select file types in the bottom right of the screen. What happens if you scroll down to "Presentation Files (*.ppt, *.pptx) - at the very bottom?

Importing of PPT files was not available until Version 9.1.0

So sorry but you can't import them in Camtasia 8.6

Importing PowerPoint slides into Camtasia Does Not bring along any animation you may have created in PowerPoint.

The imported slides would be static images in Camtasia.

With that said, in your case you could export your presentation slides as images from PowerPoint and then bring them into Camtasia.

Instead of making a long post here how to do it, this should help you to know how to export your slides  as images and then you can use them in Camtasia.
