With all the troubles I've been having creating a workable TOC, I decided to try creating it from scratch but now I need to make a global change to my navigation.
I created a bunch of callouts and labeled them, then made them hotspots that pointed to markers I'd already created. Next, I grouped them together and saved them as an asset in the library.
Next, I placed a new occurrence of the asset where each marker is, then I went into the group and changed one of the boxes for each to make it highlighted.
Thankfully this didn't change them all, but that's where my question is. This is my first time using hotspots and didn't realize there's an option I should have turned off that stops the video once it jumps to the spot.
Is there a way to change this globally or do I have to change ALL OF THEM that I've placed (ugh!).
Or back to the drawing board and find another way.
My project is just a bunch of images of PPT slides, so one way I'm considering is to create the navigation right on the slides, then just create invisible hotspots in Camtasia. Then they could span the entire timeline instead of individual callouts/hotspots that occur at each marker.
