I've just joined a training team (that is on a separate Intranet that is not-connected-to-the-real-Internet).  They have used Camtasia in the past to create small videos that they include/embed in their .PDF training material.  (All of this long before my arrival!)

We've recently been contacted by one of our (very remotely located) user groups that they cannot see the videos.  It gets tricky because they say their computers *can* see Flash animation .swf files, but cannot see "Macromedia" generated .swf files.  (Flash before Adobe?  Director-created?  I don't know...)

Up to this point, I'd just assumed that a .swf was a .swf was a .swf, but now it seems like maybe there's two flavors Flash-generated vs Director-generated?  If so, then the question that I'm leading up to is:  Which flavor of .swf does Camtasia create?  So we can try to tell them to install *THAT* player....

Sorry if it seems I'm befuddled.  Because I am...

What version of Camtasia are you using? I don't believe SWF has been an output type for a while now.
