Hello Matt, At this time I do not believe that Camtasia Studio 8 PC Version that I use will allow you to record a Wiifi Web Camera. It would probably have to be a USB Connected Webcam unless I am incorrect and someone else has another suggestion. Below I have provided a link for comaptible and tested Webcams and Microphones Listing. Take a look at this and let us know.

This is probably not what you were looking to hear but maybe it can be added as a feature request and it will have that ability someday. Thanks for posting and keep checking back as some other users or an employee from TechSmith might have other answers or suggestions. Have a great day.

Thanks for your feedback and information on your camera Matt. You could ask this to be made into a feature request to see if TechSmith might have any plans for adding wireless camera capabilities in the future. Sorry I could not be of more assistance to you.

Hi Matt,

Looks like that Hero3 records to an H.264 .mp4 file. So, what you could do is just record with it on its own while recording your screencast with Camtasia at the same time. Then, you can bring the video from your GoPro into the timeline and sync up (or otherwise arrange) your recordings.

Thanks for posting here. Hope that works out.
