If you need the installation files for the program you can download them here.

You can download and install a new or an older version from this link.

https://www.techsmith.com/download/oldversions

If you no longer have access to your Activation Key,

You can acquire it by submitting the e-mail address you used to purchase the program on this Web Site.

If you no longer have access to the e-mail address you used to purchase the key. You should contact Support to assist you. https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

As far as transferring  Library contents  goes.
You can use the Editors tools to create a "Backup" of those files.
Then, when you have SnagIt installed on the new computer you folow the same steps used to create the backup but chose "Restore".

Hi Joe,  Thanks so very much for your help.  The solution you laid out worked perfect, but I did have to download Version 13 of Snagit, as my new laptop runs on Windows 10, and my old Snagit was only compatible up to Window 8. I appreciate your help.  Tari Steward

Hello Tari,

As far as I know there are no incompatibility issues with SnagIt 11 on a windows 10 machine. But I don't use all the features either.Who would considering how many there are?

I'm running Windows 10 Anniversary Addition and those screenshots were created on this machine.I have SnagIt 11,12 and 13 installed.

I use 12 more often these days.
I like some of what 13 has to offer but I miss a couple of the features they've eliminated from it.

Regards,Joe
