Hi, Jing saves my file inside paint, then png. How do I stop it from doing this, and just save as a straight png?

Hi Scott,

It sounds like you have Microsoft Paint set to be the default application as the png viewer in Windows. Here's an article I found about how to set your default application
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/change-file-associations-windows

You'll want to change the association for png, and choose something more suitable. Depending on what version of Windows you have you should have an app called "Photos" or "Windows Photo Viewer", but you should be able to change the settings to any image-handling application you like.

I hope this helps!
