Hi all,

Is there a way to hide the green slider on clips in Camtasia 9? I find it difficult to move clips around when I'm working fast and sometimes click on the slider by mistake. I like version 9, but version 8.5 didn't have the green slider on by default.

Hi there

Try clicking the film frame icon.

Cheers... Rick :)

Oh nice, that works with the Screen clips, even when I select both the Screen and Audio clips. This works well in both scenarios. Thanks Rick! :)

I tried the same on the Audio clips by itself, but it only has the audio frame icon. Any ideas for Audio clips my themselves?

A work around that may work for you is to

Add a blank/transparent text callout,  double click on the text and delete it.
Remove the shadow effect from the callout.
Now "Group" it with your audio.

You should now be able to drag the group around without the "audio green" showing.

When ready to produce,  ungroup the audio and callout and delete the callout.

If you forget to ungroup the audio/callout it should still be fine when produced because the call was transparent

If you do this often,  save the blank callout to you library and it will save you from having to delete the text and shadow each time.
