Hide Cursor During Recording Camtasia 9 Recorder

What happened to the setting in Camtasia recorder to hide the cursor during capture.  I can't seem to find the property in the new Camtasia 9 Recorder.  I do a LOT of technical communication and hide the cursor so I have a nice clean recording w/o jumpy, jerky cursor movement.  I add the clicks / highlights as annotations.

Hi Michele;

You can edit out the cursor in the Studio (it is no longer an option in the Recorder) as seen here:

Thanks - you know what I found the answer in another post.  You need to change the recording type to .avi instead of trec.  then you can select to hide cursor in the cursor properties for the entire recording.   I had the setting from version 8 and  had completely forgotten how to do it.

Thanks for the opacity tip.  I never record a cursor because I add highlighting where I need it in the editing process but I do think that's a great tip if you don't plan to do the extra editing.

Thanks so much for your quick reply.
