In SnagIt 13.1.5 when using the highlighter, if two highlights overlap, the overlapped portion gets darker.  Is there anyway to keep the highlight color the same?

I can't answer, but this is the Camtasia forum; perhaps re-post on the Snagit forum

Could be to do with the drop shadow, which can be removed in Tool Properties on the right.

Hi John.
No, there isn't. I know exactly what you mean... you end up with stripes of darker colors when trying to cover a specific area.

The only way I know to overcome this is to add multiple areas of highlighter that don't touch.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

In older versions, this didn't happen.  Is there anything that can be done to fix that in future versions?  Over the last couple of weeks I have spent a tremendous amount of time having to zoom in and line highlight boxes up so that they look perfect.
