The UI in 9.0 is horrible. It is unreadable and unusable. Why would QA not see this? I have not used it since I purchased it. I have to continue to use 8.0 because the UI is readable and usable. How quickly will this be changed? I am a long time user of Camtasia and this has been extremely disappointing. This needs an immediate change.

Speak for yourself. Some of us love the new interface, finding it perfectly readable and usable.
There are other threads on this topic because some people do find it annoying.
I'm in favor of choices. It'd be nice if there were at least 3 skins that users could choose from.

I find it perfectly fine myself. For me what makes it unusable is the crashing during rendering. Now -that- needs an immediate change. I've been trying everything the Techsmiths suggest and more, but nothing is working.

@renharp, Camtasia should not crash during rendering. If you haven't done so already, please open a support ticket at http://support.techsmith.com and someone from our TechSupport staff will follow up with you to help troubleshoot the issue.

Already doing so, "trying everything the Techsmiths suggest." Yup, crashes every time, freshly reformatted computer, fresh install of latest Camtasia. I've just sent a tech the entire project to see if he can get it to work. Hopefully someone can figure it out so I can get to creating.

Ok, thanks. Hopefully we can reproduce the problem with the project you sent and get you back on track. Sorry for the trouble.
