Hosting powerpoint created with the produced tab in Camtasia 2019 online?

Hi,

I am still in the process of trying out all the Camtasia 2019 features with the trial account. I followed the steps detailed by Camtasia here up to the produce step and obtain a folder with lots of files. When clicking the HTML file, I get a narration of my slide, and also annotations to skip to which slide I want to go to.

Does anyone know how and where to host it online for free? I just want to try out the features and show my boss it is worth it. I've tried wordpress, but it does not seem to work with the free account. If I just pull the video, I get the video only, but without the narrating planes. I am guessing that I need to put the entire folder online. Does anyone know of a free site which I can use all the embed features?

Not sure of any free websites that would allow you to do this for sure. There are a lot of free website options out there so you would have to research how much they allow you to do for uploading and such.

If you are wanting to just have something to show you could possibly take a look at Bootstrap which would be hosted on your local computer and some editing for using the code and embed features would need changed. This would allow you to at least demonstrate what it would look like if it were on an online website for just playing the video. Here is a link to a YouTube Video that shows you what to do below:

Insert Camtasia Video into Website

Now this is just a suggestion and may or may not be what you are looking for. I have included two links for you below if you want to give Bootstrap a try. The first one is where you can download it at and the second link below is where you can find the Components he referred to in his video as the main website does not have that link unless you go under the Documentation. But, I have provided direct links for you here.

Download Bootstrap

Bootstrap Components

Keep in mind on the Bootstrap Components link you will find what he shows in the video on the right hand side link for Responsive embed.

Not sure if this will help or not so let us know.

The other option which is more like having a website would be to host a WordPress Site on your Local Computer if you are using a PC as I do not use a Mac. You would have to do some research on how to do this with you OS and if it is something you would want to do as some of these can cause some security issues so that is just a heads up warning. I have hosted local WordPress Sites on my Windows 10 and had no issues for design purposes before taking a website live to the Web with paid hosting.

Sorry for the long post and maybe other users will have some more ideas or options and this is just what I have done in the past.

Thanks for posting and I hope you like and find some of this information helpful. Let us know and have a great day/night.

Upload it to Screencast.com

That's TechSmiths Hosting website. You can create a free account. https://www.screencast.com/

There's a limited amount of "Free" bandwidth. So you can't host a lot of content with a lot viewers, without purchasing a more robust account.

For what your asking, you should be more than covered. Heres Pro accounts vs. Free.

I almost forgot, since you produced the video with all the support files.
You're all set, keep all the files.
But upload just the mp4, Screencast will handle the rest.
