Hotkey cannot be set to insert

I have a Logitech K850 that the combined the insert and printscreen key. To use the print screen key I have to do FN+Insert. In Snagit V13 and below I could set just the insert key as a hotkey to avoid this but in Snagit 2019 and 2020 I cannot do this. In talking to support they said the only thing I can do is log this type of post and hope it gets fixed. This was very frustrating to be told this as this has to be a simple coding fix. Until this is fixed I cannot to deploy to an organization with thousands of users who are stuck on V13

I don't use the enterprise installer. So I'm unfamiliar with its full capabilities.
However, they may be a way for you to do this.

I believe its strictly SnagIt 12 and previous versions that will allow you to do this.
You can download SnagIt 12 from here, and should be able to install it using your current enterprise key.

You can download and install a new or an older version from this link.

https://www.techsmith.com/download/oldversions

A 2019 or 2020 key can activate previous versions back to versions 9 or 10. I'm sure you cannot activate 8 with a newer key {:>(

Anyway, I've done this myself. By saving profiles. Then importing them into newer versions of SnagIt.

Its best to delete the custom profiles from SnagIt 12 that you're not interested in.That way, you only export and import the ones you're interested in.

Create a new profile, custom profile, whatever. Assign "Insert" to it.
If you use any of the other now unavailable commands. Create thoses profiles now.

Export the profiles to  .snagprof  using the export all profiles feature.

I would think enterprise installs must allow the importing saved profiles? I'm hoping anyway, or I've wasted your time and mine.

I like using Page Up & Page Down myself. Which you cannot use after SnagIt 12.
Yet here they are in SnagIt 2020 {:>)

Let me know if this works.
