hotkey to disable canvas snapping on-the-fly

The canvas snapping in Snagit 2018.1.0 can be undesired at some points.  We need option to hold down a hotkey like CTRL and drag objects and then either

a) the snapping stops and the guidelines disappear also, or
b) the snapping stops, but the snap guidelines remain so the user can still have an idea of how close they are to an object.

Very  annoying to have to go to options menu and disable/enable snapping everytime.  Almost every professional photo editor, will have some kind of canvas snapping AND a quick way to temporarily disable them with a hotkey.

Usually it is holding down CTRL or SHIFT or ALT while dragging the object.  CTRL and maybe SHIFT are more common.

This problem is similar to the situation with Camtasia 9 which introduced canvas snapping.  But you didn't always want to use on every dragging task.

Hi all

I'm not sure if this is an accident or a feature that was added to 2019, but I just noticed that when I'm dragging something that is snapping and if I don't release the mouse button and just press and hold my Alt key while dragging, the snapping seems to disable until I release, then try to just click and drag again.

So you may want to try this.

Cheers... Rick :)
