Hello,
Software: Camtasia Studio (v8.5.2 Build 1999) - Apr 30 2015

I create a simple project:

00:00 - 00:01 Start Hotspot (Pause on End of Callout > Jump to 00:00:10)
00:05 - 00:08 Middle Hotspot (NoPause! > Jump to 00:00:00)
00:10 - 00:12 Last Hotspot (Pause on End of Callout > Jump to 00:00:05)

The Idea for testing-loop:
1) Start and Stop on 00:01 > wait for click
2) on click >jump to 00:10
3) Stop on 00:12 > wait for click
4) on click > jump to 00:05
5) on 00:08 (end of Middle-Hotspot-Callout) jump without pause to 00:00 > loop to 1)

The Start- and Last-Hotspot with the option "Pause at end of callout works fine.

Problem:
The Middle-Hotspot (No.5)  don't jump to 00:00. It plays up to 00:12 (No.3) again and wait for click. What's wrong?

Can anybody help?

Greetings from Germany

you need to click on 2nd hotspot while it is in view in order to cause the jump

or, set it to stop at end

hello,
ok... this action works - when I click on the "Middle-Hotspot". Then it loop to the start.

But how can I do an auto-jump from a position to another position - (see No.5 - from 00:08 to 00:00 backwards) without an useraction (click)?
Is this possible?

not possible

but you could break the video into sections and use a jump to URL end action to automatically go to whatever next clip you want

or just make separate segment productions and front end all those videos with a TOC made of a list of links? I actually do this with button style menu productions where the buttons are jump to URL hotspots

Hello,
I'm sorry you are having trouble.

All hotspots need to be clicked on in order to have them perform the "go to" function.

If you are attempting to have the video jump to that location WITHOUT having your viewer click to go to that location this is not possible.

As Kayakman has suggested, there might be some way to do this creatively, but there is no built-in option to do this.

Thanks for the answer.
Too bad that there is not such a function.
