How can I capture video from a Canon HF G20 camcorder into a Windows 10 PC running Camtasia?

My camcorder has HDMI and USB outputs, and I want to record speaker video from the camcorder, speaker audio from a separate microphone, and PowerPoint slides (about which the speaker will be speaking) on the computer, all simultaneously. My biggest issue is simply getting the computer to see the live video feed from the camcorder.

just brainstorming here, but ...

trying to capture all 3 inputs simultaneously might put a strain on system resources?

perhaps try this:

independently capture the live action [with audio] with the camcorder

independently capture the mic action on an audio recorder

independently capture the PPT slide show with Camtasia Recorder, also capturing the PC mic, hopefully with the PC mic picking up the speaker

combine all 3 sources in a project, using the audio wave forms to align the actions

just a thought
