In the library files provided by TechSmith, in the right window of the ribbon, you can change properties, texts or image files like in a form.

Can I do this with my own files for my library?

Hi there

If this is even possible, TechSmith will have to "open up" the format and provide some guidance as to exactly what they are doing to create these assets.

In looking at them after placing on the Timeline, these are grouped elements. I'm not sure if TechSmith is using some special tool they have built in house or if it's just all in how they choose to group things and likely combine with some XML file or something.

I'm not sure I'd hold my breath. But it never hurts to suggest things!

Cheers... Rick :)

Hi v.clemens,

Thanks for your question! As Rick already mentioned, there is not currently a way for you to set your own Quick Properties for callouts and other assets. I'm interested in hearing what you might want to do though, if this were possible. What do your assets look like (ex: text fields, shapes, motion, etc)? What properties would you hope to set for them? Why are you looking to set these as Quick Properties vs. just editing them like normal?

Thanks for the insight!

Cheers,

Kelly
