How can I do fine mouse movements during region capture

When using SnagIt to capture a portion of the screen, a very helpful zoom window appears to the lower left of the capture cursor.  This allows precise placement of a region you want to capture.

Here's the difficulty.  It's very difficult to get to a specific pixel.  Any slight movement of the mouse and you're off a pixel.  What I'd like to do is hold a Shift key (or some other key) that changes the mouse movement speed to 1/5 its normal speed.  This will allow for very fine mouse movement control where I can get to the exact pixel row/column I want to start and end my capture.

Is such a capability already present in the software?  Thanks.

At the start of selecting a capture area you can use the arrow keys.
"Before holding down the mouse key" to move the cursor in any direction 1 Pixel at a time.

While still holding down the left mouse button at the end of selecting a capture area. You can use the arrow keys to fine tune the selection before you release the button. Just hold your hand still and hit those arrows.

I use this technique frequently, it's beats cropping in post.
