How can I record System Audio plus my Mic to an AVI file so I don't have to invoke Studio to save it?

Title says it all.  Once I add System Audio, then everything gets complicated.  I have to then invoke Studio and I get nine files and two folders output.  Isn't there a simpler way to record a screen, include the system audio, plus my mic input from my Logitech webcam?  What I'm recording is a Skype call with a screen being shown by the presenter, and I want to record both his and my voice inputs.

Not sure how I would do that...can you elaborate?  What Audio settings would I use to accomplish that?

Another way would be to acquire a mixing device that connects to the Microphone input. Then connect your microphone to the mixing device on one input and a cable from your speaker out to another input.

Cheers... Rick :)

 Hi Geoff,

I'm sorry you are having trouble.

You can choose to record to AVI by choosing that option in Recorder > Tools > Options.

As to recording SKYPE, they have a support article that might help you out.

Kelly,

I had been using the AVI recording and would like to continue using it, but when I try to add System Audio, it insists on recording to a .camrec file and I then have to use Studio etc. etc. etc.  That's the issue.  I just want to record to an avi file and save it at the end of the recording session.  But I also need to include my mic input or else I only hear the presenter, and not my questions to him/her.

Can you help?  My PC has Realtek High Definition Audio but selecting that on the Audio drop-down only records the system output, not my mic.
