I want to share my Snagit video clip to Twitter. However, when I click the share button on the upper right side of Snagit Twitter is not there.

Hi!

Thanks for the great question. We're leveraging the system share extensions that Apple (and others) provide. You can access Twitter (and others) in this way:

1) Open Applications/System Preferences.app
2) Click "Extensions"
3) Click "Share Menu"
4) Click the Twitter checkbox

Have a great day!

Thanks!

New question. I am able to share images on Twitter but not short videos. Does Snagit allow me to share the videos on Twitter?

Thanks again.

No problem, glad you found it!

As for videos, from what we've been able to deduce, the Twitter extension provided by the operating system does not support video. As an alternative, if your video is short enough, you can convert it into an animated GIF right in Snagit and then share that to Twitter from Snagit.

Video to GIF: https://www.screencast.com/t/1GcWfjn4YU5

We generally recommend staying below 30 seconds for GIF due to file size.

Hopefully this helps out, have a great day!

Thank you.
By the way, I just purchased Camtasia 3 as well.
I can use Snagit and Camtasia on TWO of my computers correct?

Awesome, you'll love Camtasia!

Yep, that's correct. The only little catch per the license agreement is that two of the same product can't be used concurrently. That is, if you install Snagit on two of your computers, they can't be used at the same time (likewise with Camtasia) by the same person.

From License Agreement (Section 1.2): "Only one person at a time may use the Software on each licensed device and the twolicensed devices may not be used simultaneously by that one person."

Apologies for legalese, just wanted to be transparent. :)

Have a great day!
