If you want to know what version of Camtasia created a .tscproj

You can open the file in Note Pad. The version information a few lines down from the top of all the information provided.

You can also open the _config.xml file in a text editor or notepad to see the version.

and also the mp4 video can be opened in a text editor to see what version of Camtasia created it

Both great explanations from Joe and Dubie. Joe's method will show the version using Notepad to find out with just the .tscproj file format.

Dubies method works with the config.html_config.xml file so it is just a personal preference and what files you saved/produced/rendered your video in.

I personally use Notepad ++ as it has more options that I use over just Notepad. This is some great information for users that may have the same question(s). Great Community for all users to learn from each other and get advice. Thanks to all who share their knowledge and time.
