How do I add text to a "photo" in Camtasia 9? Thank you for your help.

I added some photos to the end of my video and would like to add some text to the photos. Is this possible?

Sure is. Just click "Annotations" and add one in a layer above the photo!

Hi Michael,
Yes, that is very doable.

Just go to the Annotation tab and find the plain text callouts under the Callouts sub tab. The ones you want are at the end of the line up with the large ABC in it.

Drag that to the timeline to use. Drag it on the canvas to position as needed.

Hi Michael, once you’ve added the text as detailed by Kelly & Rick you may wish to consider adding a Behavior to the text. These are pre-programmed animations where you can choose how you want the text to appear on the video, (fly in, reveal etc.) what happens to it whilst it’s on the screen and how the text leaves the screen.
