How do I create a skewed image

I'm trying to use the perspective tool to create a skewed image.  The best way I can describe it is as if the capture was lying almost flat, but also pivoted.  Tiltrd and pivoted

I hope that makes sense.  Any tips would be appreciated

Hi Paul

Kind of like this?

Note that the value of -20% got me there.

Cheers... Rick :)

Yes, but also pivoted so that the bottom right corner moves over to the left.  Ah... wait.

OK so I applied some rotation and got this, which is closer, but I need some perspective so the left hand aide narrows in the distance

Oh, good grief.  Engage brain Paul.  Change the drop down option to Shear, and all is revealed.

Doh!

Don't you just hate it when you think you have a complex problem and someone finds a simple solution? Been there, done that and continue on a regular basis

LOL, raises hand. I like to use my own little phrase to describe that.

Oh dear, seems I've changed the spark plugs via the tailpipe again!

Happy Wednesday all... Rick :)

I didn't realize you were shooting for basics, so I pulled my comment to just use your Photoshop Elements program.

I might give that a try though.
